INDIAN WHISKY
Taiwan and Japan are not the only players in crafting high-quality whisky from the East. India goes 'hand in hand' with them and is among the countries with the highest whisky consumption per year. During the British occupation of the Indian subcontinent, the British introduced tea, and the Indians adopted whisky. Initially, whisky was imported to India from Scotland, and later, around 1820, the first distillery was established in India, producing beer and eventually high-quality whisky.
