HERZEGOVINIAN WINES
Herzegovinian wines have long been extremely popular and in-demand on the Serbian market, primarily due to their excellent quality and very affordable price. The Mediterranean climate, terrain, and soil type are ideal for growing grapevines, mainly the indigenous Žilavka and Blatina varieties. The largest winery in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the Čitluk Winery, which owns over 300 hectares of vineyards, producing the famous Kameno Wine, recognized as the highest-rated Žilavka variety wine, as evidenced by numerous awards it has won over the years at regional fairs.
