SERBIAN WINES AND REGIONS
Our country has an exceptionally high potential for producing quality wines, primarily because it is located at the same latitude and has a climate very similar to that of Italy and France.
In the 19th century, Serbia played a significant role in wine production in Europe. Over the past 10 years, after the wars and other challenging circumstances, Serbian wines have made a strong comeback, producing high-quality wines, as evidenced by numerous awards won at international fairs.
Some of the regions where the finest Serbian wines are produced include: Palić, Fruška Gora, Vršac, Smederevo, Župa, and other wine-growing areas.
