Liqueur is an aromatized alcoholic beverage with a relatively high sugar content as well as a high alcohol content-ranging from 24% to 60%. It falls into the category of medium-strong drinks. Its basic composition is alcohol, to which fruit, aromatic herbs, and sugar syrups are added.
