GRAPPA

Grappa is a strong alcoholic beverage originating from Italy. To be called “Grappa,” it must be produced exclusively in Italy and made entirely from pomace, following a specific distillation method without adding water. It is created by distilling pomace—a mixture of seeds, stems, and skins of quality grapes—which is combined with alcohol and then heated.

After aging for 6 months, the final result is an exceptionally clear and powerful alcoholic drink that is far from mild, as Grappa typically contains between 35% and 60% alcohol.

Today, you can find equally good and high-quality “dry” and “sweet” Grappas, as well as “reserva” Grappas, such as Grappa Candolini, a brandy with a long tradition dating back to 1987, which is available in our selection.
